  1. Reconstitute potatoes and onions together. Mix sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and margarine together in a large bowl. Stir in cheese. Drain water off potatoes and onions and stir into creamy mixture. Add salt and pepper. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Cover with foil. Let sit 1 hour on counter. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes. Halfway through baking, remove foil.
