Heart smart brownies with the thrive twist

This recipe starts with" Bostonhearts blackbean brownies", I doubled it ,thrived it up .

  • 30 oz. canned blackbeans, rinse and drained (two 15 oz cans)
  • 4 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 c. rolled oats or glutin free oatmeal
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. Avocato oil
  • 4 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. Thrive spinage(powdered)
  • 1/2 c. Thrive pomagranate yogurt bites(crushed into powder)
  • 1 tbsp. Water

  1. Add all ingredients into food processor and blend to smooth, slowly drizzle in water as needed for moisture, stopping to scrape sides at least once
  2. spread this mixture onto oiled Parchment paper lined 12x9 in. baking pan, BAKE for 15-20 minutes then while still warm sprinkle with 1/4 cup Thrive pomegranate yogurt bites (crushed into powder)
  3. allow to cool then cut into 24 servings,wrap in plastic wrap to keep moist
